After a simply amazing time last year and raising over £3000 for Macmillan I am doing it again.

4 Games in one day, Harburn, Ratho, Dalmahoy and Bruntsfeild

Our goal this year is £5000.

After all the fantastic investment to the driving range we would like to invite you to come and experience a NEW and FUN way to develop your golf game at Dalmahoys driving Range.

There is no doubt that as humans we PLAY TO LEARN!

Our aim is to introduce you to games, challenges and tasks in a fun environment that will have you playing better golf.

Itinerary

10.00 – 11.00   Fun Family Games (Session 1)

11.00 – 12.00   Fun Family Games (Session 2)

Bring the whole family and join us at the driving range for Fun Family golf games. 

These games are designed to help develop the skills needed to play golf.

What age is a good time to start learning golf?

How can we support our children’s development through golf? 

What and how should we practice?

When are the next coaching sessions?

We will provide support to all these questions.

12.00 - 13.00 “Golf Lost Secret” Golf Clinic

What is “The Secret” to more consistency, more control and more fun on the golf course.

Kendal McWade is one of the countries leading coaches with experience in coaching many European Tour players including Paul McGinley in the lead up to his famous win at the belfry to clinch the Ryder Cup in 2002.

This man is undoubtably one of the best coaches in the world and this opportunity to see Kendal perform is not to be misssed.

The clinic will last around 1 hour.

13.00 – 14.00  Golf Skills Games (Session 1)

14.00 – 15.00  Golf Skills Games (Session 2)

We have games and challenges that have been developed to bring the best out of your game.
Why not get better and have a lot of fun doing it?
Golf is a game of shots and skills, not golf swings and the new Range layout at Dalmahoy will promote these skills.

After the fantastic success of the event last year and raising over £3000 for Edinburgh Sick Kids the "Dalmahoy Charity Pros Day" returns.

This year all the proceeds from the event with go to Barnardos Edinburgh and will help make a difference to some local children.

The format is a Texas Scramble with Teams of 4.

£10 entry for Dalmahoy members and £25 for Guests and Visitors.

The fun filled day will include many fun challenges with camels, monkeys and the impossible putt keeping you entertained!!

MacMillan Longest Day Golf Challenge

Please support me a 3 other crazy golfing souls who will embark on a golf day of a lifetime.

Ian, Graeme, Bill and myself will play 72 holes in one Day for a great cause.

We will start at 5 in the morning and play both Dalmahoy courses before heading to Ratho and finnishing at Bruntsfeild.

Thinking back to how my golf started, it is now clear how long it really took to get any good.

I remember my first cut down set which were an old set of my dads and hitting balls in the local school field. Next was a set of my mums (her only set) and a game at the Local Municipal in Bathgate. When I say a game, I was dropped off first thing and played all day. This continued when I joined my first club and again I played a ridiculous amount of golf.
